  1. Privacy Policy

    Our privacy policy is very simple:  we will never sell or give away your name, e-mail address, or any of the information we collect to anyone, ever, without your permission. We may, from time to time, contact you with special offers that we think may benefit your business.

    Before we can design your custom logo, we need to collect information about your business via our logo design questionnaire. The questionnaire is essential in creating better designs by finding out about your marketing, goals, likes, dislikes, etc. All information collected is treated in the strictest of confidence and will never be shared.

  2. Terms & Conditions

    By purchasing the services of Brainstorm!, LLC, you (the Client) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, including terms and conditions incorporated by reference.  If you do not accept the terms and conditions stated here, you may not use our services.  Brainstorm!'s terms and conditions may change at any time without notice.

  3. Payment Terms

    All prices listed on this website are in US Dollars. Brainstorm! requires full payment to begin the design process. This is to protect us from design thieves that steal ideas or get something for nothing. Unfortunately, this happen quite frequently.

    We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) via Google Checkout. Google Checkout is a fast, secure, and convenient way to shop online. Google Checkout makes online shopping easy by providing a single login for purchases across the web.

    • With Google Checkout, you can quickly and easily buy from GoBrainstorm.com and many other stores across the web.

    • If you've used Google Checkout before, all you need to do is provide your Checkout username and password to buy from us.

    • If you're using Google Checkout for the first time, you only have to fill out a single page of information once to make your first purchase. After that, you just need to enter your Google Checkout login to make a purchase. There's no need to re-enter your purchase information or create multiple usernames and passwords each time you buy.

    • When you buy with Google Checkout, you can track all your orders in one place and shop with confidence knowing that Google protects you from unauthorized purchases.

  4. Design Procedures

    Once you fill out our online order form, we will send you a confirmation via email within 48 hours of the confirmation of payment.  Additionally, we will call or email you to discuss your job, and have you fill out a "logo design questionnaire"-we like to clear up questions before we begin brainstorming. At that point, Brainstorm! will begin the design process.

    Approximately one week later we will send you a PDF file with the first set of concepts via email. You will need Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to view the PDF file. This may take longer at peak times, or around holidays.  We will try to inform you when this will take longer than one week.

    Depending upon the nature of the job, the first concepts may be in full color, or they may be in black and white.  Often we like to work in black and white first, and then proceed to color when the Client has narrowed down the choices to one or two.

    Once you receive the first set of concepts, the ball is in your court. You may take as long as you like to review the concepts.  (But please keep us informed if this will take longer than a couple of weeks).  When you are ready, we ask that you email comments to us rather than call; this makes for an easy "paper trail" for us and helps to avoid confusion.

    After we get your comments, we will try to get revisions to you within a few days.  Again, it may take longer during extremely busy times. This back-and-forth process keeps going until you are satisfied with a final design-until you Love Your Logo. (Often it is two or three revisions, but sometimes more).

    Please be reasonable and try to avoid "flip-flopping" from one design to a completely new direction. This may result in increased costs. (Imagine hiring a contractor to renovate your bathroom; when he's halfway done you change your mind and want him to finish your basement instead...it will cost more.) We will let you know if you are flip-flopping, and the costs involved.

    Once you approve a final logo design we will deliver your logo to you in the formats you desire via email. If you have ordered stationery, or other items, we then begin designing those.  The stationery design process is similar to the logo design process-we go back-and-forth until you Love Your Stationery.

  5. Complicated Designs

    Our logo design prices are based on the typical designs you see for most common businesses. We specialize in bold, graphic, clean designs. If you desire a "complicated" logo (think illustrated beer label), the design will cost more. We may need to hire a separate illustrator or spend much much more time to get the right look. Please let us know the style of logo you are looking for when you fill out our logo design questionnaire, and if it will cost more we will let you know in advance.

  6. Additional Designs

    When you order one of our logo packages, you are allowed to choose only ONE final logo (or one final business card design, letterhead, etc. as the case may be). All designs or concepts that are not selected by the client or are not included in the final artwork delivery remain the full property of Brainstorm! LLC. If you wish to purchase additional designs from our concepts (logos, letterhead designs, etc.) they are available for purchase for an additional fee of $100 each.

  7. Copyrights & Trademarks

    When the final approved artwork is sent to the Client, all copyrights becomes the property of the Client. Brainstorm! will include a Transfer of Copyright form if you request it.  Brainstorm! retains the right to display the artwork in our portfolio and promotional materials.

    Brainstorm! expects the Client to perform copyright and/or trademark research to ensure that the company or product name does not infringe upon another business.  Brainstorm! will not be held responsible for any problems resulting from Client not checking and securing the proper rights to a name or image.  Please consult an attorney experienced in copyrights and/or trademarks prior to ordering a logo.

  8. Ghosts of the Internet

    Occasionally emails and faxes get lost in cyberspace, attachments get garbled or can't be opened, snail-mail letters get delivered to the wrong address, and so on. Brainstorm! is not responsible for the fallibility of the internet or other means of communication, and the Client will not hold Brainstorm! responsible for problems that may occur due to such mishaps.  If we are working on your project and you have not heard from us in awhile, it may be that your email etc. has not reached us-please give us a call to check.  Likewise, we will do the same if we do not hear from you in a reasonable timeframe.

  9. Love Your Logo Guarantee

    We really do want you to Love Your Logo. Our desire is to keep working with you until you have a great logo (we do offer unlimited revisions). If, however, you are not happy with our first design concepts, send us an email stating why you are dissatisfied and we will refund your money. No refunds will be made after we have started revising your logo...again, there are tons of people who order a logo, cancel, then have their cousin Hal re-draw their favorite one for free. Really. It happens.

    Exceptions:

    1. Refunds are based solely on the quality of our designs.

    2. Refunds will not be granted due to your business or project suffering financial hardships, name changes, ownership/management changes, delays, etc.  (See number 1.)

    3. No refunds if we have not heard from you in more than 30 days.
